I showed this bike about two years ago. I did a couple rides and after that the bike had been parked away. This weekend I took it from storage and I did some modifictions to the build. Next couple hours I will experience how it worked out ;)

Veltec was the distributor for Concorde. Veltec had a Canadian branch, hence the Canadian inspired design I suppose. Veltec Canada also carried a model called 'Team Chance', a cheap entry level variation of another brand they sold: Fat Chance. The Concorde/TC frames look very alike.

It was a very enjoyable off road ride on the Mirage. It is relatively comfortable, but also responsive. It's handling is not as direct as my Miyata Elevation or Panasonic MC-Comp. The bike is light and the not so period correct Fast Freds roll smoothly.

Under serious off road riding the post slided down, the seat nose pointed up and the headset worked itself loose. So some work to do, but I can solve that.
