1992 Specialized Stumpjumper - Completed!

Wow cheers for everyone's comments, makes the effort worthwhile a good to know its looking right.

I must admit when I got the frame through the post initially It looked a bit flat, if not a little bit boring and wasn't quite sure if I could get this looking the way I wanted.
Then when the lbc screwed up my fork I got a bit disheartened with the build.

Anyway after many hours of solitude in the garage it's turned out better than hoped and can't wait for some dryer warmer weather, I hate the winter!

So lovely to look at. I prefer the brighter colors on mid 90's Stumpjumpers but this is sophisticated and understated.

This looks fantastic. The tyres really suit the bike, where are they from?

Thanks Simon, tyres are Panaracer Duster Pro's date 96' onwards, picked them up on here, they were intended for another build but yes they look so right on the stumpjumper.

Re:

Awesome build :!:

Really love the combination of the dark plum and the champagne finish of the Rock Shox.
Classic lines from the early nineties. Good detail on choosing red chain ring bolts to match the decals.

Lovely

K.
