1992 Litespeed Mountain

And finally a proper fork for my Litespeed. It only took four and a half year to find one. It popped up here at retrobike, the seller turned out to live only 25 km away from here, I still cannot believe it. Any way, the seller went above and beyond by matting the fork for me, it was originally a lot more shiny. Amazing job and many many thanks!

I did a quick fit but need to shorten the steerer, add a bit more thread and apply the right decals on them. This project is nearly done!

What a beautiful marriage: looks like a match made in heaven  ;)
Curious to see what that will look like with those lovely screaming decals..

Oow, and please update your signature :D (or do you need another one?)

Good call, need to update that. Yeah, I wonder how those massive decals will look like, I really fancy the classic Litespeed look, just as it is in the brochure.

Campy Record O.R. is beyond gorgeous! Let me have a look at that front mech.

Across my path I found a complete '94 (I think) Campagnolo Record O.R. (I think) gruppo. And I can't resist to fit this, instead of the XC Pro kit I have ready waiting....

Maybe someone can verify what year and type this Campy gruppo is? I think the balljoints on the brakes are giveaways for a later version of Record O.R. The Hubs have grease nipples. Cranks have the hidden fifth arm. However the quick release endcaps are steel and not aluminium...

The front mech I am talking about is the one in this picture I was wondering if you still had it knocking around ? ;)
