1991 Saracen TuffTrax Extreme Mountain Bike

Original condition

Orange with original retro graphics

Hand built in England

Seat tube is 20" from bottom bracket centre to top tube centre, or 22" to the top of the seat tube




-Original colour-matched reflector brackets + reflectors

-Shimano trigger shifters

-Combination brake/gear levers

-Full Shimano Exage 400 LX drivetrain

-Metal Shimano brakes and derailleurs

-Alex Rims front wheel, rear unknown

-Original Saracen fabric saddle

-21-speed




Very good condition, has seen little use.

Barely ridden since about 1993

No rust

Everything which should move, turn, or spin does so.

Brakes are catching but the wheels have been off and on a few times and brakes haven't been adjusted

Gears seem to work fine

Original paint and graphics

Original saddle has a tear on the front

Tyres are flat, I haven't tried pumping them up. Rear tyre will need replacing (spare included with x4 tubes for free, unknown condition)


There are a few stone chips and some of the stickers are peeling or have rubbed
