Its really a re-decaled Trek 930.

And the softride stem was use very later : 93 by djernis, if I remember.

Ameybrook : how do you know it's a 1991 frame ?
For mine, I have contacted oldmountainbikes.com and showed the serial number, but the answer was only a blur idea

Same. Serial number puts it right at 91.
