Wanted Ritchey Vantage Pro 26” Rims - 32/28 hole

Looking for Ritchey Vantage Pro rims for my ’93/‘94 Ritchey P-21 restoration. Ideal would be a 32 hole for the rear and a 28h for the front, but know The 28h might be a bit of a unicorn. Running some ‘97 Ritchey Proelite wheels (Ritchey labelled Hugi hubs, rock WCS rims) at the moment but they are not period correct so hoping to build a pair of the original spec Proelite wheels from ‘93 (XT rear hub, Ultegra/Shimano 600 front hub). In hope….

Thanks B - I already have two sets of Vantage Comp 32h rims - but thank you! there is only about 20g difference between Comp and Pro rims so I am wondering if I am being a bit OCD…

Sorry - I don't have any to offer...but I was wondering if you knew where the Expert model fits in? Between the two, or above?

I've been looking for a 28h one of those too...in fact any decent 28h rim, never mind a 24h! Too many hubs perhaps?

Hi Andrew - I believe the Expert was a later model that was similar to the early Vantage Sport - weighed about 450g and had a simpler construction. Those Are the ones! They came in grey and and silver finishes And would be delighted with either.

Had a dig in the garage, almost what you asked for but not quite. vantage pro 32 h rear grey ano xt hub 7 speed. Vantage comp 28h front grey ano Shimano 600 hub. Both rims look the same, seem to run smooth and true with decent brake surfaces. On my daughters specialised at the moment so will need to have a chat with her if you wanted them? and find another set of wheels if she wants to sell
