Mavic 121's are a DH rim, so Id be inclined to fit the ritchey rock 's.

Did they do downhill back then
I was erring towards the Ritcheys as they are much more the right age.
I was tempted to sell both sets and get some propper period correct ones but the Ritcheys are nice and light.

I solved the lack of seatpost problem today
Due to the original being firmly corroded into place it got butchered when I removed it :?
29.5mm seems to be a very odd/rare size with nothing available anywhere I've tried inc here.
So I had a rummage in my large box of bits and found a 30.2mm kalloy post made from nice thick walled tube.
Took it to work today where Mark worked his magic on the lathe and I now have a 29.5 post . We decided to leave the top 30mmish the original diametre to maintain the strength where its needed and tapered it down to 29.5mm
Need to decide wether to leave it polished, get it black anodised or get it powder coated?
