1990 16" Kona Cinder Cone. Mixture of fun parts.

A few revisions to the bike have occurred due to some bargains popping up over the course of the last couple of months.

Yellow Onza Ules to replace the DDG's
XTR M960 Front mech to replace the flimsy Deore
Suntour XCD front brake and OEM Koolstops to replace the LX Cantis
Suntour XC SE self energising rear with suntour straddles and OEM Koolstops
130mm Kalloy Stem with alloy top cap. Shorter reach.
Odeyssey Svelte Ti Seat binder in blue.
Brodie Brake booster (polished) on the rear.
White heat-shrink over the top tube cable.
Polished the Deore Logo off the rear mech.
ODI Clear Gripshift grips.
Silver DMR V12 pedals to replace the Wellgo's.
X-Lite Cross Country risers in blue, easier on my back.

A few revisions have taken place.

A Deore XT Shark Fin, XTR brake cables, X-Lite titanium skewers, Suntour XCD SE rear brake, Ritchey brake blocks, Onza Chill pills, Cog Hog and Dia Compe PC7 gripshift compatible brake levers.

Still think the stem looks abit wrong but I LOVE the framecolour with those multi-colour decals - awesome.

Agree with making a bike your own. Mine is a 92 frame with alot of '99 and current XT. Rides a treat and I love it so who cares :LOL: ?

Just have some Ritchey Superlogic Gripshift compatible brake levers to add and all is good. I'm also debating whether to swap out the tyres for superlight all black Ritchey Megabyte Z-Max WCS 1.7's.

Have experimented with Kenda semi slicks which were dangerous and then Pananracer Speedblasters which ware excellent, just put the IRC's on for trail purposes but am not to keen on the amberwall look.

It does ride pretty nicely!

Ules are still very yellow! Mine never stayed like that long!

Very nice build. Like it a lot.
