Nice bike, and nice too you got it from the original owner, he had it for 29 years and kept it in that condition. A couple of my bikes have also come from the original owner and it's a great feeling knowing it's never been in anyones else's ownership apart from theirs and now yours! He must have thought a lot of it

Thanks, he really did love the bike, sent him a picture of the finished article and he was really pleased with what I'd done with it. I now understand why so many people on here have so many bikes, its completely addictive bringing them back to life, I'm already on the look out for another!

Still own and love this one and I've made a few changes so I thought I'd update, still a very low mileage bike and it really does feel like new. Swapped out the Japanese kit for mostly Italian now.
