12-28T or 12-32T 8-speed XTR cassette?

You can use it, you just loose the 'fast speed' gears you used to have and I thought it was for the road ?

Top speed (if you can pedal at 100rpm constantly) will be about 28mph or 22mph if you like to cruise at 80rpm about a 2mph drop or 4mph from the original setup.

As I hope I said, it depends if you don't mind going slower that maybe you are use to.

Hmm, I guess it's okay. This is a mountain bike and not a road bike, and where I live with the way the roads are, it's not often that I hit top speeds anyway. I'm more into cruising as opposed to speeding.

I can always swap the wheels or even the cassettes around later if I do feel I'm not getting the gearing I'd like.

One question, so if I put the 11-28T onto the Blizzard with the standard crankset, won't I get higher gearing on that bike now for faster speeds? as opposed to the 12-32T. If that's the case than that's fine, as that one will be almost strictly street use.

Thanks!
