Not very retro Pace...

Not a huge fan but certainly looks better in the second set of pictures. I am a huge fan of RC40's very nice fork and could be keen on another set if any one has some.
 
Glad you like em :D they look properly at home on that bike.
I'm guessing you managed to get the headset sorted then?
 
Yeah I got some spacers and sorted it. Slightly higher than before but in a good way. Nice one for offering them up.

Slight update. New cranks, gear cables (Goodridge) and a shortened brake hose on the front. Much more fun and cheers to mountainloz for his hard work.
 
Got a few more shots of the beast today. All that is left is some matchmaker style clamps for the shifters/brake levers, hose guides for the forks, new chainstay protector and some new grips. Hopefully that will all happen this week.

hmm I have toyed with buying one of these, but I see it as similar to my KHS. I do think it lacks the style of a proper Pace.

Quick pic down at the beach taken with the phone before.

Changed the stem for a Hope 90mm and had the forks sorted by justbackdated. Very pleased with it now.
