thick/chunky/cushioned bar tape?

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a good quality brand of bar tape that has the nice thicker feel to it?
I keep buying stuff that looks up to the job but they all end up feeling a bit 'normal'.

I like the thicker variant of the Bontrager tape.

no reason that wouldnt work right? perhaps too think though?

May give the Bortager or Charge tape a go.

You know how it is, every bike I come across in a nice bike shop seems to have softer, thicker, squidgier tape than everything you've bought!

I just use fizik, never been a problem for me tbh.

Specialized Roubaix.

You name it, I've tried it. Fizik is fine too - have it on my Kuota. Cinelli is lush but a bit fragile. Roubaix is softer and thicker than both.
