chain slip
Ah ha, i had the very same problem, in fact i chiped a bone in my elbow due to falling off after the chain slipped going up hill.......... no stiff links, no damage to the cog teeth, rear mech working fine, ....just the 16 tooth sprocket seemed to take a real dislike to me. So, i threatened it but it did not listen, bought a new one... perfect, no probs since..... strange as !
