My modern Giant with bits off here. What ya think?

Hey guys, after accumulating the bits i always wanted when i couldnt afford them, here is my Giant xtc.
Its a bit marmite but i have to admit im loving being back on a hardtail.
The majority of the bits were aquired from here hence me showing you all. So thanks if you sold me anything

17lbs as it stands - with gears 19.3lbs
Anyway have a gander and let me know what you think, cheers Mike

yes that is well stealthy! i like, the purple sets it off too, have you drilled spacers for aesthetics or weight?

I was having a poncey moment and remembered the days of drilling.
The weight loss wasnt really worth considering but i thought it looked quite cool to be honest.

The amount of time and effort it took to source the purple bits was the first hurdle.
They are ControlTech V's at 150g per pair inc pads - I swapped these for a set of Avid Juicy 5 disc brakes.
The wheels - Hope ti hubs were bought from ebay, stripped of the shoddy rims that came on them, and rebuilt using DT revolution spokes and purple and silver nipples.
Headset spacer was kindly sold to me by someone on here too!

and then the lightweight campaign began lol
