1991 Rocky Mountain Titanium

nothing final. but the amp fork, ck pewter hs, mrc ti bb, xtr chainset, ritchey spd, xtr front/rear mech, dean ti post and flite trans am saddle will prob be staying. only front brake cabled up, and make-shift SS with locked f/r mech but it gets it's first maiden test ride around the block.

decided to take this build in a slightly different direction. thought perhaps the old girl deserved a bit better. so i swapped out the entire cockpit.

an older grey Syncros stem & black flat bar replaced the RF Deus and RM bar. bar shim i ordered was just a tad shorter in width than i would have liked, but oh well.

Also the XT M739 v-brakes, levers and shifters replaced with XTR M900 shifter/lever combo and cantis. even though i dislike cantis in general, i thought it was a needed change. as you can see, i made use of the Amp canti hanger I had on my Cirrus originally. glad i decided to hang on to it. ;)

just need to finish cabling up everything, as well as find some suitable grips to use. maybe need to change the HS spacers to a different colour. :?

any ideas and/or feedback appreciated…

Love it!!!!

Not too sure why the dislike for canti's. Personally I prefer them to v-brakes (and discs don't belong on anything pre Y2K IMO).

That stem looks fantastic but keep an eye open for a Ti flat bar and that would trick that bike out beyond where it is now. Don't get me wrong, the black is nice and the syncors is right where it should be; on a Rocky.

( Just added another Rocky to the stable by the way but I'm awaiting it's arrival. I'm pretty stoked but I'm stuck in Ottawa for a couple of weeks on a work course so I'm anxious knowing that it will be home before I am. )
