Are you saling this bike on craiglist?

Not selling, that's the gent who sold it me ;)

This 8900 is a 1990 model and the spec stem is made by American...nice welds. i think the 1991 was spec'd with the A-tac stem.

1990 was also the last year for 1" headtube.

Cranks are Matrix branded made by Cooks.

I took a look at your 8700...very nice. How is the build progressing? Pics?

If you ever think about selling the American stem and replace it with an Atac just drop me a pm. I'd love to use the Amercian for a current project.

Thx and cheers

Chris

ps: very nice bike.

loving that. and liking the fact you have managed to photograph the carbon without making it look like its about to fall apart!

hemm… things are loooooong ! :D
I need to respray the neon orange first, and it's the biggest work on it.
But, perhaps, I could have a 1991 8900 in the same size, with the RS1 fork. But news next week : I don't know the price ;)

Anyone out there have a pic or scan of this bike from new?

I know I had an article from MBA in my magazine stash way back when, (Mom tossed all my mags while I was away from home :( )
