Anyone recognise this?

my bro owned an identical one, massive frame, even for his lanky build, moved on to a 89 lavadome after it
 
That Dawes is from 89 and had Renolds 500 tubing,not bad for a first mtb.

If 501 it's Kona Hahanna sort of level - still a proper bike, but nothing to get excited about.

I'm not the hugest fan of Konas but even I'll say that BITD you would never have compared a Kickback to any Kona, they were worlds apart. Kickbacks were generally seen being ridden in town and were three or four sizes too big for the riders seen on them. Konas were usually seen on the trails or at the racetrack :)
