Don't know if it's been mentioned but MBUK did a weenie build based on a Prestige frame in one of the specials back around 1992/3. It was meant to be a Vitamin T but someone bought it so they used the Prestige instead.

Last couple of bits.
Tubes and rim tape, for the front, out with a Schwalbe tube and Raleigh rim tape at 224g
In with a Maxxis Flyweight tube and rim tape at 93g saving 131g
For the rear, out with a Bontrager tube and Raleigh rim tape at 222g
In with a Maxxis Flyweight tube and rim tape at 93g saving 129g
Lastly I realised it had a 420mm seatpost so swapped it for the 350mm out of my Dawes saving another 26g

That brings the total lost to 1504g or 3lb 5oz :D I'm pretty happy with that, I'll finish getting it together then I'll see what the final all up weight of the bike comes up at.

Not the best photos, the weather has just turned to crap! All in all it comes to 19lb 11oz, not bad at all! :D

Funny you've gone for Blue bits, I had blue bar ends and handlebar end caps on my Prestige, purple & blue must be a "thing" :LOL:
