Looks great Eef! The white Taper-Lite works perfectly and I too love the 730 grupo. Great work and enjoy!

Dare I say that I actually prefer it with the Shimano kit, it's understated and near to bang on perfect.

Thanks!
Same holds for me: I think it's more 'modest' this way, a bit like 'the poor man's ARC' that I read somewhere once ;)

I like it. 8)
To me XT is 'the Pinnacle'. I mean, I know it's not, but I would never run XTR and have never really wanted to. So this just looks like a purposeful machine to me now.

But let's have a chat about those bar ends. Do you really ride with them at that angle? :?

Actually, I do ride them at this angle on all of my bikes: when standing, I prefer to take the sides of the handlebars/bar ends and while climbing, I tend to lay my hands more or less flat on the bar ends.
What's your bar and style/preference then, if I may ask.. ;) ?

When I use bar ends they angle up slightly, probably about the same angle as your stem. With yours set flat they look like they would force the wrists into an unnatural position. Kind of ouchy looking! But if it works for you, that's what counts.
