Recommend me a cordless drill? Ryobi?

Well if it isn’t I’m coming round with it.

LGF I don’t like red. Reminds me of Reg Prescott.

Dewalt - you get what you pay for

I have a £99 one from Wicks that is 7 years old and still chugging along but only just. My works drill is a brushless model around £200 and would rip my face off it was allowed to

The green (DIY) range of Bosch kit is fairly reliable for occasional use around the house. The blue (trade level) kit used to be the dogs danglies but is now frequently no better than the green range stuff. I had a blue one a few years ago and ended up punting it for a DeWalt.

Higher end DeWalt is still good.
Lower end DeWalt and Ryobi are shite. You can usually see the chuck wobble they're so bad.
Milwaukee was superb, but I've not used any for a few years.
Makita... probably a good balance - I know a few guys that swear by them, including some who have been using tools for longer than I've been alive.
