Quite a few different methods depending on the part or damage. The Pauls levers were just brasso wadding. The Cranks were dipped in caustic cleaner,rubbed down with a wet brillo pad, some bigger scratches taken out with some fine emery(p1000) and a rotary sctcohbrite pad. The bulk of the polishing was done by a mop and compounds in a pillar drill, finishing with autosol and brasso wadding(either would do). Will finish all polished surfaces with chemical guys jetseal, which I've used on a frame before to great success.

It is very addictive, wait till you see the front end, may have to tone it down a bit. Best thing I done was to buy the mops and compounds, all in the cranks probably took me about 1 1/2 hrs.

I agree the canti noodle makes it '96 at the latest, and one of the colour choices in '96 was "indigo":

But there was a "dark blue" in '95:

so maybe '94 production for the '95 model year.
