Porsche Bike FS 2001

Hi

My friend has a Porsche FS Evolution (non carbon frame) that is in average condition (sat in the back of the garage for years). We cannot find any real reference to it online and would like to restore it to a better condition. We are unsure if its value and would be restoring it to sell on so not sure if it would be worth the sweat equity in doing so. Any thoughts?

A resto is rarely worth the cost if measured in financial terms.

If doing it up to sell, cut out the doing it up bit and just chuck on eBay or wherever in its current condition. Obviously you can tidy up in its current state, clean, maybe sort cables and get it presentable but otherwise any money you spend on it is unlikely to be recouped.

The frame itself is made by VOTEC in Germany. Nothing too special but not crappy either. The fact that it's a car branded bike doesn't add any value at least not for bike enthusiasts.
