Ok, today was tough. Had a good fill at breakfast and headed off just after 10, in the relentless heavy rain. Not too bad for about a mile then we were all cold so stopped to put on another layer. Couple of miles later soaked to the skin, it's rained, with some wind, all 45 miles to the Arc de Triomphe, but we made it. Didn't stop to eat as just too cold and that of been worse so snacked as we went basically. We also lost our way at one point so lost some time, were still friends!
I had to do a loop of the Arc, the others weren't up for it but I had too, pretty mental playing with the traffic but keep your eyes open and all good! Few pics then onto hotel only a couple of KMs round the corner.
According to Strava, plus the 10 miles at the beginning because I forgot to start the app total miles came to 209 miles.
So all washed and ready for a night in Paris!, thanks God!, bikes need a good clean and service though.
