yes you need V2 which is the deep one DAMHIK

I have both already, which I am selling, I'm just not stir whether to sell them together or separate!
 
Out in a pub garden at the moment, but Sheldon is your friend. They are different enough not be interchangeable.

Yes, but it didn't fit all the way onto the BB, which is what was worrying me. I think this is because the first Octalink splined area wasn't as long as this one.

The main problem is that V2 splines are around 0.3mm wider than V1. Which means that at the pedal end, you'll get around an inch of slippage, causing irritation to the rider and destruction to the cranks.

Ask me how I know this. :facepalm:
