abominable little bike (FRO inside) - C26 evolution

work in progress. Not really on the bike but on the parts.

Firstly, I show a french magazine scan about the Juli Furtado's yeti ARC. This article give me some information and inspiration for some details.

For exemple, I loved how they sculpted the shimano brake levers for saving some weight.
Mojo ti could make me this fine work on them, with a new respray and new rubber hoods he molded me

The manitou fork : he springs in it were dead. I replaced them with new pace MCU elastomers ad RC7 grease. Now the fork work, And I thing that they work better than original spring : quite plushy 4cm !
rubish original springs :

pace MCU

I forgot…
The Boyburning's tioga seatpost !

Thanks for that scan on her ARC. Never seen that.
;)
It was Juli Furtado's bike for the first Grundig race in Italia
You could see some particular things like different tires (specialized ground control on rear, Porcupine on front), older XT brakes front and low profile on the back.
For the brake levers, i think it was from a STI/brake combo. The STI tab was cut and the collar machined. As written, Juli prefered to ride with the servowave system (classic M232 levers are SLR but not "servo wave)
I've got other scans from french magazine about Yeti !
