better late than never

do you think the people that were selling these still make them..i had a complete wheel with this knd of setup a while ago but sold it on ebay... wish i had kept it..

Why on earth would you want one with the ready availability of good disk hubs for pennies?

That's what I was thinking - if you have to un-lace half the wheel and rebuild it, why not just go the whole hog and swap the hub while you're at it? It's not going to take much more time.

I can think of 1 far fetched reason to use them:

You can fit them on both sides of a front hub and have double disc brakes up front, some marzocchi forks had disc calliper tabs on both sides, right? :D

True!

You'd need new spokes and get the wheel rebuilt, so it hardly seems worth it!

why do it..... well why not.
its only the same as some like a bike with loads of gold or purple anodized bits..

it would be cool with a classic xtr hub or maybe on a classic chris king
personaly i just liked the idea of using it on an original XTR hub.
i had one built into a wheel on an xt hub i just thought it was cool.
