Tange shockblades internal diagram - help?

Re: Tange switchblades internal diagram - help?

Are you sure you mean Switchblades, the fork? There's not a lot of parts to it.

I think you mean "Shockblades". :?:

Switchblades are a rigid triple clamp like a Bontrager.

Thanks Crell. I was trying to figure out how to say, "Just look at it dumbass" in a diplomatic way :)

sorry, ive solved it now - blowtorch solves everything

If they were Switchblades just tell us they were Shockblades and no one need ever know.....

Shockblades have got to be the simplest forks in the world next to rigids and should not need a diagram.

Take the top caps off, get a long allan key and undo the bolts at the bottom of the legs then pull apart. Only thing you'll find inside are elastomers, there are no springs.

I had a set once, they suffered badly fom stiction and even when working only moved when you hit something really hard. Little better than a flexstem with precious little extra travel. In their favour they looked good and being alloy were little heavier than a rigid steel fork.

Have fun..............Cheers
