what happens when it rains? Do you need a tarp to?
I did consider the bivi and tarp. But I'm too much of a jessie, whenever I've camped out of the 2 weeks we can call a summer in Scotland I've been freezing or rained oan. No a nice wee tent is as uncivilised as I'm prepared to go.
