Not if it concerns current costings though, as I've been out of that business for nearly twenty years.
 
I will add that smallish productions runs are more viable now than previously, thanks to rapid tooling techniques, although for very small runs, where it would be difficult to amortise the tooling costs, CNC machining from solid might be the way to go - provided that it's something than can be produced in this way, of course.
