More closed road roadie nonsense in a beautiful part of Scotland, usually sells out fast so get in quickly.

You need to register and pick up your timing chip the day before the actual race so make a weekend of it..

I do it with a few local friends, I think a couple of Macretro are considering entering it this year.

Last year had around 4000 riders, it's pretty impressive, I did think the fee included a profit for Macmillan, I'm guessing a lot of people assume that, I'll be doing a donation this year to make up for it. It is a well organised and supported ride and I guess they need to make some profit too.

there is a Pennines etape too, not sure if it is closed roads though.

Just heard form Hawmaw that Etape Caledonia general entries are now sold out. If you want to sign up now you must do the charity pledge and raise at least £300.
