O/A is an acid ph ...will act after parts removal ..therefore a netrual ph water will have to follow same used in car batteries fill
caustic ..soda ..is base ph ..will work under heated temp range approx 75 cel
the caustic strip will remove chrome /nickle at temp ....o/a will not
when both exposed to air under tests the caustic item will hold without rust after bath for days
o/a sample will return in moister air hits item in surface rust .
a caustic burn at temp will cause hospital treatment .....
