great looking bike, a very nice selection of parts . don't change anything.

Just changed a couple of things following some welcome suggestions from forum members.....

Switched to S/S ferrules on the shifter cables and thanks to Rocco I now have the original version of the 'Grab On' handle bar end plugs.

Then I took it up on the hill:

Summer here at last? Hope so

Classic!

Wow, what a beautiful bike. Looks a lot like mine...but yours is in what appears to be pristine condition. One of the nicest-riding MTBs I've experienced.

Like I have said before....it is great the bike is back to where it was when I sold it. It is a wonderful bike and you have done an excellent restoration job!!!!

That is very sweet Adrian, top build!

Lovely attention to detail as one would expect :)

I pleased to say that this frame is now making its way back to the UK, after a spell in Germany, as I will be it's new custodian for the forseeable future! :D

I'm planning to build it pretty much as listed here by nevadasmith, so don't expect disc mounts or 100mm travel forks on it!

I did think about cutting off the brake posts and fitting drum brakes, but decided against it!!

Cheers,
Andrew
