Brooklyn Machine Works Big Ben

First, thanks for all the comments I'm absolutely loving this one.

BeepBeep; the frame is right around 4 1/2 lbs light but not crazy and its crazy stiff so perfect for jumping. short The little chainstays make the thing just launch off just about anything I can find.

Rumble; keen eye, yes a vinyl carbon sticker from china did the job fantastically. If only I hadn't stepped on the razor blade I used to remove the Marzocchi decals it would have been a flawless job.

Here are a few pics from today's cruise around DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass for those of you who don't know). The weather is perfect and I'm off from work so a leisurely ride was definitely on the agenda.

Loving this bike the more I see it!
That last pic is surely a future POTM winner!

I could not agree more.

I keep coming back to it.
I see you have an ss with hammerschmidt. Thats very very well thought out.

Holy sh!t, do pardon my French! I hope you've sent both Joe and Ged (Brooklyn US and UK) photo's of that bike, fkn awesome!

Get some (original) Shin burgers and BMW bar-end caps on that ASAP!

I'm on my way to see Joe about the end caps right now but to be honest I never liked the shin burgers.

Tell Joe that Lee (that deaf guy!) says 'Hi' and ask him to email me regarding the stems if you can!

Personally I love the Shin Burgers, combined with FiveTen shoes they're a good platform pedal, but I do know they're also classed as 'Marmite' (you either love them or hate them). I using both Shin Burgers and BMW end caps on my new commuter build :)

Always loved these frames, that paint job isn't up my street, but is seriously cool! Does he do many bikes or is this a one-off?

@OnOneFan The artist is a grade school friend of mine and he's been spraying for years but this was his first bike. It came out fantastically! I discussed some colors with him but that's it. I pretty much gave him total artistic control with the bike and that gorgeous fade is what he came up with.

Anyway here are a few more pics from the industrial side of Brooklyn.
