2006 orange five - advice please

thanks for the replies.(again)
i was just being lazy,a quick look on the orange website tells me it is indeed a 27.2 post - plenty on ebay :D

righto chaps,
last bit of advice needed then i promise i'll leave you alone :D
finally got the bike back together and just when i thought i might finally ride the old slapper i realise my discs are too small.i bought 160mm as i thought fitting the m4s directly to the mounts i would need the smaller discs, wrong.so i'm assuming that i need 180mm as the 160s are only slightly too small?
just want to make sure before i buy the wrong part again
anyway here she is,not to everyone's taste but i'm paying for it :D

The rota's on my 5 are 180mm I think. Calipers don't have any spacers. ;)

Looks good btw. :D

Dude yours are 183mm front and back.

I have a 2006 5 but use 203mm front and 183mm back.

Those look like Shimano rotors on splined hubs but yes you need a bigger rotor.

You can get an adaptor for the splined hubs to run 6 bolt IS rotors if you want to run Hope rotors with the hope brakes.

Just realised you might need 183mm rotors and not 180mm.

You can always ring Hope and ask which size would fit?

It can be the difference between the pad wearing even on the rotor or the pad having a ridge near the top.

If you contact hope and tell them which brakes, and what frame there on they can tell you which rotors to use.
