Right, the CTW scheme is being rolled out this month at work and I need a new bike for commuting on with maybe a little singletrack on the way home! I missed out on a Salsa Le Cruz a couple of weeks ago and would like something similar. I have narrowed it down to the above 2 cross bikes, I would like a steel frame but the spec on the Boardman is very good and I would sacrifice the steel frame for it. What do you guys think?

I looked at the Genesis last year but held back thinking that Alfine 11 would be round the corner, seems no though. The Boardman does look OK but I've always found them a bit like him...boring. Though I'll admit the spec does sound appealing.
