As it happens, yes 
kinda sorted the dodgy gears on the dale ,found the mech cage to be twisted , so bent it straight again , still not 100% but at least i get 6 out of
7 gears now , sorted the brakes ,the 20 yr old lx pads were changed for some 20 yr old xt pads ,loads better

Haro weight weenie-ing begins in earnest - the good news, I found a PG-970 cassette in my spares box, so there's another 131g saved Then I weighed my supposed lightweight Kenda Karma DTC L3R PRO tyre... weight on website (495g), weight on my scales 810g. :shock: WUT!
300g of mud? I don't think so.
<EDIT> Seems like I'm an eejit, I've got a 2.2 Karma (780g catalog weight) versus 1.9 Karma (495g). Sometimes I wonder how I dress myself in the morning
