Retro cars?

Now you have realy started something!

My other half is looking for a replacement beetle if the insurance company ever sorts things out.

Could be a little short of the money needed for a DS but were only here once as they say and theres more room in the back for the dogs!
And it may stop me having to use mine as the dog bus.

Cheers,Al

Mmmm, here goes...

I haven't owned a car in years, but I've previously had:

1967 VW Beetle 1500;
1969 Triumph GT6 (Mk2);
1970 Triumph Herald saloon;
1970 Triumph Herald convertible;
1970 VW Beetle 1300;
1972 VW Type 3 squareback.

So "3-all", then.

I had an 79 MGB Roadster which was great fun until I needed to drive to the station every day and no longer had a garage, so I sold her on to a better place

Then an 87 VW Scirocco which I still call my classic sports coupe. Practically gave her to an old friend when the baby and dog meant an estate was called for.

Still wish I'd had a proper Mini Cooper, too
