The answer is that we didn't.

M-Trax was concieved as a raleigh sub-brand to sit between the mass market Raleigh products and the Dyna-tech/Raleigh Special Products bikes.

The series one K2 Cr-Mo frames were made in the main Raleigh factory and then assembled on a production line.

The Series two Ti tubes frames were manufactured and the bikes hand-built in Raleigh Special Products.

That answers my next question of why the never mention Raleigh other than in pics and the address on the back page.
