its spyware i believe, ive had it a few times, i just reformatted as i dont trust many software programs around (i cant afford to buy them) and thats how i get rid of it, very irritating one that one! :evil: sometimes it changes your background too and limits your access

I take it you have gogled it there are thousands of references to it, try and find one that shows where the files are installed and running so you can manually remove them, some of these so called "removers" "cleaners" are viruses themselves!

I used to use this when i ran windows, it was very good at removing things that the paid for services couldn't http://www.malwarebytes.org/

If its the latter you should be able to click on "Tools" and then "Downloads" to see a list of downloaded files and just click on the one you want.
