Any of you Scottish fellows help out?

Planning a holiday to your fine land for some time this year.

The question is, which one of the trail centres is the best?

Don't want total hardcore (no jumps and insane drops), but i want something challenging.

So, what do you reckon?

any of the 7 stanes border stuff
but go a bit further up

inverness is a fine place to stay
youve got laggan to the south the monster trails to the east and
learnie red to the north
and a whole heap of natural stuff all over
its scotland its the most wonderful country for land access this side of nz

you'll love it

Glentress and Innerleithen are best all rounders for adrenaline that can be ridden by most. Drumlanrig is best for old school feel ie lots of natural single track through the woods. Further north has loads of stuff although the redgrade trail at Nevis Range is probably best avoided as its been designed around modern bikes and can be scary, apparently according to a very talented mtb riding friend.

I'm certainly not a trail centre addict but am told Laggan Wolftrax is good. Approx 1/2 way between Fort William and Aviemore.

The Borders ones are frequented by scary Macretro folk.

agree glentress has great trails something for everyone and a very pleasant part of the world- drum is great but you must like roots
