Mondeo ST TDCI engine noise

I like my car! But just recently it sounds like a f'd taxi! Any ideas?
Its had a service and filters changed.
On the other hand performace is better? Go figure!

Anyone?

What sort of noise and when? Apparently the DMFs can be quite loud when on the way out...

If it's just at idle could be the botttom pulley on the engine. There's a known issue with these, search for Tsb 18-2005.

Bad luck on the DMF. I was worried about DMF failure when I bought a mondeo TDCI for the missus. Turbo failed instead.
