Not a peurile attempt to engage in a conversation concerning flatuence...but do fish fart?

when i had the big fish and the bloody room and electic eating tank set up i used to have a huge shovel nosed cat fish and that was its party trick to fart every day at least twice

i might add he was huge and used to eat any other fish that got to close to his mouth :roll: :roll:

Apparently fish fart bubbles are collected and used in spirit levels. True.

My friend is a marine biologist, currently doing in a teaching post in Massacheusets. She told me she didn't realise fish don't wee until she was doing her first masters. :shock:

Why do you ask by the way?

Came home from work last night to find 'we' had bought a fish tank for the kids. It's being prepped or something for the arrival of some fish next weekend.
One of the girls asked if they farted

and like a good dad I said I didn't know but would find out.
Now I hear they don't wee.....that'll give them the giggles
