Wanted. A cheap metal detector

My 6 year old is obsessed with the idea of treasure hunting so i'm on the lookout for a cheap metal detector.
A bit of a long shot I know but when I find a gold hoard I will share the love!

It is for a child. Make one from a crying pan stuck on a broom handlr, a pair a hradphonrs connected to a mp3 pkayer that gives random beeps.

After digging up a few false alarms, the litlun will get bored and take up a worthwile hobby like cycling.
