In today's climate, that's mad they can't find any younger folks to train up. I'm almost questioning that's the reason for closing...

Yes exactly what i thought Al as you'de imagine loads of school leavers wanting to do it or maybe not in this day and age.

I suspect the only way to actually retire and achieve a decent retirement nest egg, is to sell the assets piecemeal. I can't see a huge demand for it as a going concern.
The property will have value, as will the tooling and maybe sell the name in a couple of years to one of the major bike retailers
