Today's Ride

Nice scenes - interesting about the mountains which aren’t really mountains! Isn’t there some height classification? Or something?
I remember the movie about the Englishman that went up a hill and came down a mountain

And which border areas are these?

I was in the Peak District, Kinder at 2087ft can be classed as a mountain as it is above the UK designated height for a mountain, which is 2000ft. There is no universal recognized height for a mountain, thats just what we use at moment.

Having spent most my life walking in the Peak and in the mountains of Wales, Lakes and Scotland i see the Peak more as hilly personally, though these days, and on hot ones like the other day, they still take a bit of effort to get up :)

Thanks for that
I’m currently walking in Wales - north North west Brecon Beacons bear Libanus

Well, sat at home with mundane jobs to do is a great booster for getting you out the house, so i went for another ride :D

A lot busier today, no other cyclists but horse riders and families.

It was cloudier today though the wind had died so was a bit warmer, and when the sun came out it was lovely.

Great little local loop, usually dont ride some parts of this much as usually go further afield, and when i do its on the way home so tired, So today was nice as i had a bit more energy and could ride the trails a bit quicker :)

Another great ride.

Some lovely shots folks.

Finally got our holiday in last week, rescheduled from June. You can probably guess where we were from some of the shots below. The weather was epic; sea fog and misty mornings (got some cracking runs around Mounts Bay in the tank) making way to glorious blue skies and golden sunshine. I managed to get my token pink skin after all

Normal service resumed tomorrow ;)

Our new house in the distance although we need to blow up the causeway to keep the riff-raff out.

So pleased to finally get to this beach after many years of "next time". Well worth the walk (climb) down.

Wish i was at the beach

Used to enjoy walking over to your new house and waiting until the tide came in and catching the boat back :)

Hahaha - that's the fun bit ;)

First day of autumn and I'll need to get the lights out as it's just a touch too dark for the first 10 minutes or so at 06:30. Slight chill in the air at 12, rising to 14 by 08:00. The mist and sun played a game of who could look the best.
