Just had a chat with a guy at a replaters and he reckons a 'finger in the air' price for a sulphuric acid bath (to remove the old nickel plating) and replating in new nickel would be about £65.

That could be a without VAT price, but still, is it a good price and more importantly, a good idea?

Hounslow somewhere.

Seems like quite a big outfit.

He did say it was a complete guesstimate and he have to see the bike first.
