Heres my first post on the forum though i've enjoyed looking through the quality stuff on here for a while, so thought id show off mine.

Bought the frame off ebay for just 99p

I wanted to respray it in a nice retro paint job so decided to go for the famous Belgium rally car colours - Belga red and white- with the same typeface the team used on the car.

Nice work. How do you know it's a 96 Kili Comp though?

96 kili's were v brake and therefore didn't make use of the noodle. Also the 96 catalogue shows them to have the ritchey cupped style drop out.

Just looked at the close up pics of the frame and indeed it looks like it is a kili.

I think I can see a ribbed downtube suggesting tange ultimate ultrastrong?

It looks like a 93 or maybe 94 kili xtr frame:

Is that the one on e-bay that had the stuck seatpost? Was it collection only from the Wirral? I nearly bid on that and was gutted when it went for 99p. Looks really great and i'm happy you got it.

Was that the 95 kili comp with a small dent in top tube?
