Hi all,
Something more down to earth here, I have a Kona Fire Mountain which though a little scruffy seems in very good condition. Anyone know which years this is? Original components were 300LX.
I am requiring quite a few parts though so there will be plenty of wanted posts from me regarding this, should have kept a lot of my old bits after all!
Currently I have the frame, forks and matching stem, seat collar and rear canti cable guide. Headset needs replaced I think, and it takes a 26.6mm seat post, though I am thinking of getting a 26.8 reaming tool in there.
Wheels are dirt cheap 7 spd freewheel jobs for now, I am looking for three different types of rim and front hubs due to having three odd rims and three different rear hubs.
I am thinking of 7spd LX or XT drivechain, mechs etc, unsure about brakes, seatpost, bars or tyres.
