Good for you, it was the black spokes that threw me.

I toyed with stainless steel spokes but fancied something darker.

LOVE THIS. 8)

The Mavic groupset sets this off really nicely. Neon Pink on black to me is very much a colourway of the early Nineties.

Kudos for building your own wheels too..... Ive done the same for my Mavic build yet to be revealed!

Cheers

And the bike looks superb with the Mavic group set!
I think the pink is the icing on the cake!

thanks chaps, I love the pink, and it is very bright too, harks me back to when my cousin and I would buy dayglow cables, grips, toeclips and derailleur protectors ...... really pimped up the raleighs on a budget

looking forward to the Mavic build "B'o'B" :D

A really nice build. The Mavic groupset is rarely seen, but always a treat to see.

That's beautiful! Keep an eye on the Mavic crank to spider webs though....had a set on my Prestige back in the day and they developed hairline cracks. Took a round file to them (ouch!) until the cracks had gone and they never returned. Just something to keep an eye on.
