North London based - collection only - Beautiful handmade British bike - excellent all rounder. 25 inch frame - will suit the long legged! Has little wear having been sitting in the attic for nearly 20 years, some minor scratches to the frame. Now fitted with a Brooks Professional Select saddle. Also in the deal are two unused Suntour Chainrings 52/50 teeth.
Specification:
Frame No. 395/81 Builder 6.
Reynolds 531 double butted tubing.
Black frame with logo in gold & gold detailing around lugs.
Wheels/Hubs - Wolber Model 58 Super Champion rims/Miche Competition hubs & spears.
Brakes - Weinmann centre pull.
Headset - Tange
Handlebars - SR Randonneur Drop Bars.
Seat Pillar - SR Laprade.
Derailleur - Suntour Cyclone 12-speed.
Levers - Campagnola.
Pedals - Shimano Deore with Stronglight cranks.

We know, and Ian loved it... but age and arthritic knees have intervened. Had it on eBay and Gumtree with no nibbles. We think it’s the frame size. Oh well.

The frame size is given by the original Mercian receipt.
